Henry Heinen, veteran of World War II, Korean War

Henry Joseph Heinen, 85, of Eunice died Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou.

He served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War.

He is survived by One Daughter, Ros; a Kidder of Mamou, La.; One Son, Henry C. Heinen & Mary of Eunice, La.Two Sisters, Beatrice Young of Mamou, La. Lillian Barron of Elton, La.; One Brother, Louis "Tookie" Heinen of Eunice, La.; Three grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Placedus J. & Annie Dischler Heinen; 1st. Wife, Vercie Fontenot Heinen; 2nd. Wife, Lillie Chapman Heinen; Brother, James Heinen; Sister, Helen Landry.

Visitation at Quirk & Son is from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM Thursday, April 16, 2009 with a rosary @ 7:00 PM. Reopen at 8:00 AM Friday.

Funeral service will be at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou at 2:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2009 . Burial to follow in New St. Ann's Cemetery in Mamou, La.
