Henry, Humble announce wedding engagement

Aimee Michelle Henry of Morse will become the bride of Richard Wynn Humble, also of Morse, during a 1 p.m. sacrament of marriage on Saturday, April 18, 2009. The ceremony will commence at

St. John the Evangelist Church in Mermentau with Father Paul Metrejean officiating.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Nelton and Alice LaPointe of Lake Arthur and Todd and Tracy Henry of El Campo, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Patrick and Anita Higginbotham of Morse, Lorraine Henry of Duson, Rodley and Barbara Henry of Baton Rouge and the great granddaughter of Jeanette Landry of Mermentau and the late Wilson Landry.

Aimee is a 2002 graduate of Midland High School and is currently employed by Carmichael’s Durable Medical Equipment.

The groom-elect is the son of Bill and Jerrilyn Humble of Morse. He is the grandson of Johnny and Mildred Humble of Morse, the late Mede and Mamie Breaux and the great grandson of Winnie Richard, also of Morse, and the late Aneas Richard.

Richard is a 1998 graduate of Midland High School and is currently self-employed.

Following the wedding the couple will reside in Morse.
