Henry "Sonny" Falcon, Jr.
CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Ascension Catholic Church in Donaldsonville for Henry “Sonny” Falcon, Jr., 38, who died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Father Phil Spano will officiate the services.
Burial will take place at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Donaldsonville.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the Ascension Church Hall in Donaldsonville.
He is survived by his wife, Regina Falcon of Crowley; his mother, Cherrel Falcon of Donaldsonville; his maternal grandmother, Anna Bell Chedotal of Bell Rose; three sons, Blaze Nepveaux, Brice Nepveaux and Henry Earl Falcon III, all of Crowley; two daughters, Megan Falcon and Caitlynn Falcon, both of Crowley; one sister and brother-in-law, Renee’ and Chad Meyers of Crowley; one brother and sister-in-law, Reed and Denisa Guidry of Lafayette; three nephews, Bradley Meyers of Crowley, Joshua Guidry of Lafayette and Jacob Guidry of Lafayette; and two nieces, Chasity Meyers and Madelynn Meyers, both of Crowley.
Mr. Falcon is preceded in death by his father, Henry Earl Falcon, Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Norris and Irma Landry Falcon; his maternal grandfather, Octave Chedotal; one god child, Trent Meyers; and his father and mother-in-law, Wilbert and Dorothy Richard Guidry.
He worked in the oilfield industry as a mechanic for Marvins Engine Service in the Rayne area for 13 years and for Flo Quip in the Lafayette area for the past three years. Henry was also known not only by “Sonny” but by the nickname “Plug” as well. As a friend, he was one for life. As a father, husband and son, he loved unconditionally. He was a great person to be around. If a person was sad, he was the one that could lift their spirit up. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and anyone that came into contact with him. He will always be remembered.
Pallbearers will be Reed Guidry, Harold Sagona, Tim Dill, Robert Hidalgo, Scott Falcon, Chad Meyers, Johnny Millian, Matt Stelly and Terry Cassard.
