Istre, Caswell to unite in matrimony

CROWLEY - Jeffry Istre and Nancy Leonards of Crowley, along with Curtis and Michelle Caswell of Evangeline are pleased about the engagement of their children. JoBeth René Istre and Andrew Scott Caswell have announced their engagement and their intent to marry May 28, 2011 at 5 p.m.

JoBeth’s grandparents are Dennis and Phyllis Leonards of Crowley and Deanna Landry of Lafayette and the late Angelas Istre Jr. of Lyons Point. She is a graduate of Iota High School and she graduated from LSUE with an associate’s degree in general studies. The bride-to-be is employed by LSU Crowley Rice Research Station.

The prospective groom’s grandparents are Albert and Barbara Caswell of Jennings, Darlene Thorton and the late Bill Thorton of Evangeline. He attended Iota High School and is currently employed by Acadian Ambulance.

The couple will unite in matrimony at the Grand Opera House in Crowley and Pastor Tim Moffet will officiate the ceremony.

After the wedding the couple will reside in Crowley.
