Istre, Gorham plan late July wedding in Eunice
EUNICE - Haley Nicole Istre of Crowley and Jacob Ryan Gorham of Mowata recently announced that they are engaged and intend to exchange wedding vows on the evening of Friday, July 26.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Nancy and Paul “Jackie” Loewer of Branch, and Jeffery Istre of Lyons Point. Her maternal grandparents are Phyllis and Dennis Leonards of Crowley, and her paternal grandparents are Deanna Landry of Lafayette and the late Angelas Istre Jr. of Lyons Point.
Haley graduated from Iota High School in 2010 before attending Louisiana State University at Eunice, She is currently a student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette pursuing a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with a concentration in biology.
The groom-elect is the son of Herbie Gorham of Richard and the late Laura Gorham. His maternal grandparents are Shirley Pitre of Carencro and Charles Sittig of Eunice. His paternal grandparents are Gretta Gorham of Eunice and Jack Gorham of Lafayette.
He is a graduate of Church Point High School and Louisiana Technical College - Acadian Campus in Crowley. He is currently employed by CDM.
Haley and Jacob will be wed during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony conducted by Pastor Tim Moffett at the First Baptist Church in Eunice.
Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Mowata.
