J. LeeRoy Arceneaux

AKRON, INDIANA –– J. LeeRoy Arceneaux, 50, Akron, passed away with his daughter, Brittany, on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, in an automobile accident in Wabash County.

He was born March 16, 1962, in Welsh, Louisiana, to Herby and RosaBelle (Hanks) Arceneaux.

He was currently working at OJI Intertech in North Manchester, Ind. In earlier years, he had worked in the RV industry.

He enjoyed Frisbee golf, riding his motorcycle and canoeing the river in the summers. He enjoyed any outdoor activity. He also loved his dog; he was an all around animal lover.

Survivors include two sons, Derek Arceneaux, who is serving in the U.S. Air Force, and Tyler Arceneaux, Akron; his mother, RosaBelle Arceneaux, Rayne; three sisters, Tricia, Judy and Sandra, all of Rayne; and one brother, Daniel, Rayne.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brittany Arceneaux; and his father, Herby Arceneaux.

Funeral service were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastor Terry Canfield officiating.

Burial was in Akron Cemetery, Akron.

Memorial contributions may be made to Tippecanoe Valley Middle School Band.
