Jimenez, Simon announce engagement
CROWLEY - Jessica Lynn Simon of Morse and Chad Michael Jimenez of Houma announce their intent to marry on April 30, 2011 at 1 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Crowley. Father Gary Schexnayder will officiate the ceremony.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Glenn and Ronda Simon from Morse. She is the granddaughter of Rodney and Wilda Simon of Kaplan and Dempsey and Shelba Parden of Deridder.
Jessica is a 2003 Notre Dame High School graduate. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2007 from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Then, Jessica received a doctorate in physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Fla. Currently employed as a physical therapist, she works in Crowley at Select Physical Therapy.
The prospective groom is the son of John and Andree Jimenez of Houma. Chad is the grandson of Alvaro Jimenez of Houma and Beverly Jimenez of New Orleans and the late Curtis A. and Betty Jo Doiron LeBeouf of Houma.
He graduated from Ellender Memorial High Shool in Houma and in 2008 Chad graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and holds a Bachelor of Science degree.
He is currently attending the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine and will receive his doctorate in physical therapy in April 2011.
After the couple’s wedding, they will be traveling nationwide as contract physical therapists.
