Kappa Gamma Zeta Phi Beta Sorority
Kappa Gamma Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority
met on Sunday, November 9 to finalize plans for the Zeta Prematurity Awareness Weekend.
On November 15 and 16 worshipers will learn about premature birth, an infant health crisis that nearly half a million families cope with each year.
Thanks to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., members will join congregational leaders in sending a message of hope for premature babies and their families.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has partnered with the March of Dimes in leading a national effort to save babies from premature birth by funding research to find the causes and by supporting local programs that offer hope and help to families with a baby in intensive care.
This year the March of Dimes will be sharing information about the problem, ways to reduce the risk and on how you can support this effort, from wearing pink and blue to sending letters and raising funds.
Resources are available by visiting marchofdimes.com during November.
Kappa Gamma Zeta is sponsoring this first program as part of its Z-HOPE program.
Z-HOPE is Zeta Helping Other People Excel in mind, body and soul.
