Karkowska sisters to perform at Opera House
As its last event of the season, the Grand Opera House of the South will host the Karkowska Sisters Duo. According to Kim Gattle, executive director of the Opera House, “the entertainment does not stop there.”
The Karkowska Sisters Duo consists of sisters Anna, a virtuoso violinist and Kash, a concert pianist whose tours included the countries of North America and Europe.
The sisters are an award winning, internationally acclaimed ensemble who perform extraordinary programs of virtuosity and laughter full of beautiful music, unforgettable stories and comedy.
“..as a duo they communicate easily with an audience, telling fantastic stories with music that literally takes one’s breath away,” said John Ashton, president of Fairmont Chamber Music Society.
