Katelyn Reneé Hebert
St. Martinville – Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Katelyn Reneé Hebert, 4, who died on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
Fr. Ed Degeyter will officiate at the funeral Mass and conduct the funeral service. Scripture readings will be read by Ashley Guidry and Sandy Trosclair. Gifts will be presented to the altar by Marie Bourque and Jeanne Hebert.
Katelyn was a Pre-K student at the Early Learning Center in St. Martinville. She enjoyed going to the camp and fishing. Katelyn was quite the pretender – always pretending she was going to the camp. She loved playing with animals and was a huge fan of “Hannah Montana.” She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her mother, Marcelle Bourque Hebert of Broussard; her father, Michael Hebert Jr., of Erath; one sister, Kylee Hebert of Broussard; her maternal grandparents, Christine and David Bourque Sr. of St. Martinville; her paternal grandparents, Susan and Michael Hebert Sr. of Erath; her maternal great-grandmother, Winona Standridge of St. Martinville; maternal great-grandparents, Godfrey and Goldie Bourque of New Iberia; and her paternal great-grandmother, Jeanette Scott.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather, Marcel “Paw” Fuselier; her paternal great-grandfather, Johnny Scott; a great aunt, Loretta Bourque; and a great uncle, Hubert Bourque.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hebert Jr., David Bourque Jr., Byron Fuselier Jr. and Shane Fuselier.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
