Kathleen Ann Breaux
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Crowley for Kathleen Ann Breaux, 63, who died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 2:54 p.m. at Southwind Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Kathleen was born in Alice, Texas and spent most of her life in Crowley. She was employed by the Crowley Police Department for nine-and-a-half years and retired as Communications Supervisor from the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Department after 17 years.
Rev. Roger Tarver, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Kathleen is survived by one daughter, Donna B. Matte and her husband Joe of Crowley; one son, Robert Breaux and his fiance’ Melanie of Crowley; four grandchildren, Jarrett Mykel Hebert, Leah Michelle Breaux, Jada Rashell Breaux and Trista Katelyn Breaux; one brother, William Michael Boddye and his wife Jackie of Crowley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucien Dale Breaux; and her mother and stepfather, Genevieve and Albert Brasseur.
Pallbearers will be Melvin Clay, Conrad Perry, Francis Bergeron, Paul Faulk, Glynn Johnson and Vince Conde. Honorary pallbearers will be Jarret Hebert, William Michael Boddye, Joe Matte, Chester Simon, and Richard Gauthreaux,
