Kimberly Primeaux honored with baby shower
Kimberly Amelia Primeaux, bride of Brandon Joseph Primeaux of Lyons Point, was honored with a baby shower on Saturday, February 28, 2009 in the banquet room of the Rice Palace.
Hosting the event was Erica Simon,
Melanie Hebert, Simone Dorr, Michelle Kidodeaux, Rachel Broussard, Sabrina Meche, Carissa Primeaux, Emily Primeaux, Katie Primeaux, Amber Watson, and Heather Reed.
The mother-to-be is the former Miss Kimberly Dorr. She is the daughter of Glenn Dorr and Sandra Leonards and Albert and Judy Armand, all of Crowley.
The expectant father is the son of Garry and Fayetta Primeaux.
On her special day, the honoree was radiant in a brown, blue and white print skirt topped with a white shirt and brown cardigan. She was presented with a corsage of white roses and sheer blue ribbon that was adorned with miniature blue baby items.
The maternal grandmother-to-be was attired in an Easter toned green blouse paired with black dress pants, while the paternal grandmother-to-be wore a black, turquoise and white blouse with a lovely black skirt. Both awaiting grandmothers were given corsages of white baby roses accented with sheer blue ribbon sporting a miniature blue baby bottle.
The banquet room was decorated in a blue theme including coordinating balloons, napkins, plates and cups.
Refreshments of sandwiches, chips and dip, pretzels and a vegetable tray was served to accommodate approximately 50 guests with out-of-towners traveling from Sulphur, Rayne and Grand Chenier.
The couple eagerly awaits the arrival of their first little bundle of joy on April 1, 2009.
