Town Revelers talk Mardi Gras plans with Rotary Club members

The Rotary Club of Crowley heard the plans for this year’s Krewe of Town Revelers’ Carnival Ball when Laurie Suire, ball captain, was on hand as the most recent guest speaker.

2022 Crowley Town Club Mardi Gras leaders, from left, Captain of the Krewe of Town Revelers and King Cimmer LVIII Greg Jones, President of the King and Queens’ Association and King Cimmer LV Elliot Doré, Captain of the Krewe de les Dames and Queen Cimmer LVIII Katie Chiasson and Crowley Town Club Board President Bryan Comeaux marked Twelfth Night and the opening of this year’s Mardi Gras season by preparing to hang their official royal Mardi Gras flags. Similar flags, indicating past kings and queens can be seen throughout Crowley and Acadia Parish. This year’s Mardi Gras Ball, with the theme “Cimmer in Love” will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, at the Grand Opera House. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will go on sale online at 8 a.m. Friday at https://ci.ovationtix.com/36057/production.1087606. ‘Cimmer in Love’ Mardi Gras Ball set

The Krewe of Town Revelers have announced that this year’s Mardi Gras Ball, with the theme “Cimmer in Love,” will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at the Grand Opera House.
