The steady pace continued in the second stanza, as Lady Tiger sophomore point guard Carly Hay and sophomore forward Devyn Trahan led the offensive assault on the bucket, leading a 14-8 eight minute charge to take a convincing 27-15 advantage at the half.
The visitors continued to pour it on in the third quarter, outscoring Vinton 15-11 to grab a 42-26 lead entering the fourth and final period.
In the final frame, the Lady Tigers turned the offense up a notch, running the Lady Lions off the court by a 23-16 count to waltz away with the 65-42 district win.
