LeBlanc, McFarlain engaged to be married

BOURG, LA. - Kenneth and Robyn LeBlanc of Bourg, La. are pleased to announce the engangement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katie Lynn LeBlanc to Andrew Reed McFarlain of Crowley.

LeBlanc is the granddaughter of Joyce LeBlanc and the late Irwin LeBlanc, Sr. and Elie and Eva Belle Ledet, all of Bourg. She is a 2004 graduate of South Terrebonne High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is employed as a registered nurse at Lafayette General’s Women’s Children’s Pavilion.

McFarlain is the son of Patrick and Janet McFarlain of Crowley. He is the grandson of Allie McFarlain and the late Durphy McFarlain of Evangeline, and Lily Carlson and the late Allen “Dutch” Carlson of Morse. He is a 2004 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and a 2008 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is employed as a registered nurse in the ICU department of Opelousas General Hospital.

The couple will exchange vows on October 22 at a 7 p.m. ceremony at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma with a reception to follow at The Royal Villa in Raceland.

After the wedding, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
