Lege to run for Acadia Parish Clerk of Court
Crowley resident Larry Lege is proud and honored to announce his candidacy to Clerk of Court in Acadia Parish. Born and raised in Estherwood, he has lived in Crowley for the last 30 years and can proudly say he has chosen this wonderful community to raise his family and build a home.
His parents are Lou Anna Lege of Estherwood and the late Love J. Lege. He is currently married to Cindy Chapman Lege, a Registered Nurse from Lafayette. Larry has two children, Christopher and Ann Lege and three stepdaughters, Jennifer, Kelly and Emily Rhodes and he is also the proud grandfather to four grandchildren.
Larry graduated from Midland High School in 1970. He then received an Associate Degree in Radiology from St. Patrick’s Hospital in Lake Charles and served as the Director of Radiology at American Legion Hospital in Crowley. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from McNeese State University. He was the owner of The Sound Factory, an electronics store serving Crowley, Eunice, Bunkie and Lake Charles, and a video store called Movie Tyme in Rayne. Lege also worked for two Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies, Pfizer and Sanofi Aventis. He is the current owner of Energy Shield Insulators, a spray foam insulation company out of Crowley and Lake Charles.
“I am looking forward to serving Acadia Parish in an open, organized and accessible fashion by providing an open-door policy for all,” said Lege. “I believe communication and honest dialogue are keys to maintaining a trust-filled environment and I will encourage all residents to rely on the Clerk’s office for solutions to their concerns.”
