Lezie Mae LeBlanc Hanks
Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for Lezie Mae LeBlanc Hanks, 82, who died Saturday March 27, at Lafayette General Hospital.
Lezie Mae is survived by her husband Freddie J. Hanks of Church Point; six daughters Lena Hanks of Youngsville, Gail H. Briley of Grand Prairie La., Elaine H. Tweedel of Lewisburg, Jill H. Barnett of Church Point, Diane H. Tweedel of Lewisburg, and Connie H. Mark of Pennsylvania; twelve grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was also survived by one brother Kermit LeBlanc of Rayne; and one sister Patsy Comeaux of Rayne.
Lezie Mae was preceded in death by one son Gervais Hanks; her parents Valarien and Selema Thibodeaux LeBlanc; three grandson Michael “Kyle” Briley; Jerry and Jarid Hanks granddaughter Ricki Tweedel; three sisters Inez Johnson, Virginia Foreman, and Gladys Hoffpauir; two brothers Curney LeBlanc, and Preston “Black” LeBlanc.
Visitation will be held Tuesday March 30, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at7:00 p.m., and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until services.
Burial will be in the Church of The Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Mire under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Church Point.
