Nevada - Seventy-seventh International Rice Festival Queen Hailey Hensgens traveled halfway across the country to Lake Tahoe, Nevada, last month to represent Crowley and the rice industry at the annual Rice Millers Association Convention.

Beginning on Monday, June 16, the week-long convention was the 115th of its kind.

The event is a professional forum for the rice milling industry and allied businesses. Educational programs included topics related to trade and economic issues that affect the rice industry. A trade show highlighted rice milling related equipment, products and services.
