Couple to reside in Lafayette following nuptials at St. John the Evangelist Cathedral

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an elegant Sottero and Midgley lace gown.  The gown was a fitted sheath with a scalloped neckline finished with a corset closure. Her dress was completed by a vintage-inspired point d’esprit lace capelet. She wore a cathedral length veil with a feather clasp and carried a bouquet of red and white roses.

The bride was attended by her maid of honor, Milo Deanne “DeDe” Nicholson, and her matron of honor, Dr. Adrienne Riviere Musumeche, sister of the groom. The bride also had a man of honor, best friend, Justin Breaux. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Hamilton, sister of the bride; Gina Rose Hooks, maternal aunt of the bride; and Rose Calaway, Josie Latiolias and Elizabeth LeVasseur, all friends of the bride.

The groom was attended by his brother-in-law, Steven Musumeche, as best man. Groomsmen were Tommy Hamilton, brother of the bride; and Miguel Gonzalez, Adam Barry and Brian Kidd, friends of the groom. Honorary groomsman was Edmond Underwood, friend of the groom, currently serving his country in the United States Air Force. Ushers were Christopher Noto, first cousin of the groom, and Chris Barlett, friend of the bride.

Flower girls were Molly Musumeche, niece and godchild of the groom, and Ava and Ashlyn Haynes, cousins of the bride. Ring bearers were Connor Hamilton, brother of the bride, and Kenny and Ashton Riviere, the groom’s sons.

The readers were Ashley Noto, cousin of the groom, and Lyndley McNabb, friend and coworker of the bride. Musicians were Scotty Walker on trumpet, Thomas Niel on organ and baritone vocalist Shawn Roy.

The reception was held immediately following the ceremony at The Hotel Acadiana.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at the home of the groom’s sister and brother-in-law, Adrienne and Steven Musumeche.

The couple will reside in Lafayette.
