Notre Dame High School student Hunter Jon Lambert performed at Carnegie Hall on Feb. 9 as a violinist with the International Honors Orchestra as part of the 2014 “High School Honors Performance Series.”

The “High School Honors Performance Series” challenges the talents of elite high school students from across the United States, as well as Canada and select international schools. Students selected for the program rehearse and perform under master conductors and have the opportunity to perform before invited representatives from collegiate and professional music programs.

Participation in the “Honors Performance Series” at Carnegie Hall is through director nomination and audition only.

Hunter is the son of Jay and Sandy Doucet Lambert of Crowley.
