Laureate Mu learns reverse painting

Glenda Atkinson presented a program on reverse painting at the meeting of Laureate Mu Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held at her home on June 3.
Atkinson demonstrated the technique and had each member in attendance produce her own glass plate with a sunflower design. Each member was able to go home with her own work of art.
Shirley Griffin, yearbook chairman, distributed yearbooks for the 2014-2015 year. Program chairman, Elsie Rowell, announced the program and hostess schedule for the year.
Soap pads for Miss Helen’s Soup Kitchen were collected by service chairman, Gloria Stutes.
The July meeting will be held at the home of Elsie Rowell, and members are asked to bring scrubbing pads for the soup kitchen.
The budget for the year was discussed and dues were collected.
Plans to see the play Nunsense II on June 12 were finalized.
The hostess served delicious refreshments to those present, including Griffin, Jean Hanks, Connie Jaubert, Brenella Joubert, Rowell, Stutes and Nancy Tislow.
