At its last meeting, American Legion Auxiliary Acadia Unit 15 installed as 2014-15 officers, from left, Isabella delaHoussaye, treasurer; Laura Thibodeaux, vice president; and Joanie Schendel, president. The next meeting of the Auxiliary will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at the VFW Home located on VFW Dr. in Crowley, with Sybil Deshotel, past National American Legion Auxiliary president, as speaker. The Auxiliary is open to any female relative of a veteran or current military service member.
