Living Rosary set here on Oct. 4; CDA Rosary Pilgrimage slated

CDA Court Rayne No. 844 invites all parish organizations and parishioners to attend and participate in the Living Rosary on Monday, October 4, at 5:45 p.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church. 

Participants are being asked to stand in a circle in the place of a prayer and light a candle as their prayer is recited. It takes approximately 85 people.

Prayers will be offered for peace, in our families, state and country and for an end to abortion.

the annual CDA Rosary Pilgrimage will be conductedFriday, October 15.

Participants will meet at St. Joseph Church in Rayne at 8:15 a.m. to recite the Joyful Mysteries. The Luminous Mysteries will be recited at 9 a.m. in St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, followed by the Glorious Mysteries recited at St. Martn de Porres, both in Duson. The Sorrowful Mysteries will be recited at 11 a.m. in St. John Cathedral in Lafayette.

Confessions will be heard at 11:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 12 noon.

The prilgrimage will conclude with lunch at the Golden Corral on Ambassador Caffery.  

Everyone is invited to join in the caravan, motivate your family, friends, and neighbors to join you in this journey of community prayers for peace, vocations and to end abortion.

As a participant you are responsible for your own transportation, however carpooling is encouraged.
