Lodge 6 Woodmen place flags at Old Crowley Cemetery

CROWLEY - The Woodmen of the World Society and local Lodge 6, has a long history of presenting American Flags to worthy nonprofit organizations. Patriotism and reverence for the American flag and for those who have served their country are deeply embedded in the Woodmen’s culture. Thus, our society has become one of the largest presenters of U.S. flags in nation. Woodmen members are very patriotic and are proud to be able to provide these flags free of cost to the recipients.

Every Veterans’ Day, Lodge 6 of Crowley choose a local cemetery to honor our local veterans who have past away by placing flags on their graves. This year, the Old Crowley Cemetery is the recipient of these flags, where there are over 200 veterans grave sites from World War I through the present conflict.
