Lois Jane Sheets Faulk
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Lois Jane Sheets Faulk, 82, announces her passing on Thursday afternoon, July 1, 2010 at the Crowley American Legion Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. , Monday, July 5, 2010, at the Ebenezer Church of the Nazarene with Pastor “T” officiating. Visitation will also be held at the Ebenezer Church of the Nazarene from 2 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 4, 2010, and again on Monday July 5, 2010, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Mrs. Faulk will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Wade Glynn Faulk, and her beloved son, Daniel Wade Faulk, in the Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery.
Mrs. Faulk was born in Roosevelt, Oklahoma to the late Wilburn and Evalina Sheets on September 11, 1927. In 1953, she made her home in Acadia Parish with her husband, Wade G. Faulk.
Together they had five children. She was a retired head start teacher and school bus driver for Acadia Parish. She also worked several years for the telephone company. She loved her family, traveling, fishing and telling stories. She had an adventurous spirit. She will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, include her beloved children, Candace Faulk (Candy) Kelly and her husband, Tommy Wayne Kelly of Crowley, Jane Faulk Duhon and her husband Alden Paul Duhon of Mermentau, Jean Faulk Guidry and her husband Jeffrey Lee Guidry of Crowley, Tab Faulk of Mermentau; and one daughter-in-law, Yong Faulk Heuermann of Julesburg, Colorado; thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
Now she rests in heaven with her beloved parents, her husband, her son, three sisters and four brothers.
