Lt. Governor’s GRAMMY Gala at Acadiana Center for the Arts
LAFAYETTE - The Acadiana Center for the Arts (AcA) invites the citizens of Acadia Parish to join them as they celebrate Louisiana’s finest cultural export, our music.
On Saturday, February 25 at 7 p.m., AcA and Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne present the first annual Lt. Governor’s GRAMMY Gala in the AcA’s James Devin Moncus Theater in downtown Lafayette.
An exciting lineup of Grammy-nominated and Grammy Award-winning artists from around Louisiana will converge on the Moncus stage in a grand celebration of Louisiana music. This star-studded performance, highlighting the depth and spectrum of the state’s music culture, will celebrate in style with an all-inclusive gala event featuring special awards, fine music, great cooking, cool drinks and hot entertainers.
Musical performances by Louisiana’s top artists include Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, Rebirth Brass Band, Joel and Anne Savoy, the Magnolia Sisters, CC Adcock presenting songs from the television series “True Blood,” CJ Chenier, Chubby Carrier and many more.
