CROWLEY – A campus advisory meeting was held at Louisiana Technical College Thursday evening which was hosted by the school’s Assistant Dean Pat Miers.
Several area dignitaries including State Representative Jack Montoucet, District Judge John Trahan, City Judge-elect M’elise Trahan and former Crowley Mayor Isabella delaHoussaye were in attendance.
Miers discussed several aspects of LTC, including its impressive recent growth, an update on the school’s budget and the institution’s future goals.
Many people in attendance credited Miers with the recent success of the school. However, she deflected any credit and returned the compliments those in attendance.
“I appreciate that very much but I must say that it is the support I’ve received from this group which has helped me to increase our enrollment and add additional courses,” she said.
Randy Toepfer, president and CEO of Toepfer Manufacturing, was presented with an Honorary Membership to the National Technical Honor Society for his support of LTC.
Toepfer’s support included a fantastic pork, beef, and sausage sauce piquante that he cooked for Thursday’s group.
