Mable “Mae” Bourque Mire
CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held Friday, July 5, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Mable “Mae” Bourque Mire, 99, who died Sunday, June 30, 2013, at 5:44 p.m. at Camelot Place.
Mrs. Mire was a native of Kaplan and longtime resident of Crowley. She owned and operated Mae’s Café on West Second Street in Crowley for 50 years.
Deacon Dan Didier of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Friday from 10 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
Mrs. “Mae” is survived by one granddaughter, Karen Benoit of Crowley; two great-granddaughters, Kim Gatlin and Kayla Benoit, both of Crowley; one daughter-in-law, Elaine Benoit of Crowley; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Joseph Mire; one son, Paul Donald “Poochie” Benoit.
