Mable Menard Pryor
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Mable Menard Pryor, 90, who died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010 at 11:40 p.m. at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Rev. Wayne Howington, Pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, will officiate for the services. The family held visiting hours Monday from 2 p.m. til 10 p.m. and will resume Tuesday from 8 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Mrs. Pryor is survived by one daughter, Vida P. Simoneaux and her husband Alfred of Crowley; two sons, J. W. “Bubba” Pryor and his wife Peggy of Crowley, Ned Pryor and his wife Nell of Crowley; one sister, Audrey M. Brown of Morse; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. W. Pryor, Sr.; her parents, Maurice and Annie H. Menard; three sisters and four brothers.
The family wishes to thank Southwind Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, the nursing staff of American Legion Hospital surgery desk and Lamm Home Health.
