Malorie Elizabeth Boudreaux honored at bridal luncheon
The home of Ricky and Madelene Boudreaux in Rayne served as the setting for a bridal luncheon honoring their daughter Malorie Elizabeth, who is betrothed to Tyler Earl Meche, son of Allen and Mona Kay Meche of Crowley.
Serving as hostesses for the event were Angela Wall, Sheila Faulk, and Donna Pasquier.
Guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres of cheese straws, sugared pecans and pineapple and cherry pinwheels. The main course consisted of rosemary chicken with Fontina cheese, fig preserves in a puff pastry and honey-glazed carrots. Completing the meal was a spring salad mixed in a vinaigrette dressing. Dessert included cupcakes of three flavors, chocolate mint, coconut and buttercream.
Beautiful black and white damask fabric tableclothes covered the tables. The tables were topped with floral arrangements of white spider lilies, belles of Ireland and green and white baby roses. Fresh limes lined the inside of the vases adding a sophisticated decorative touch to the Boudreaux home.
Thirty-two guests attended from Baton Rouge, Crowley and Rayne.
The couple will wed during a 7 p.m. Mass on Friday, August 1 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rayne.
