Megan Murphy and Richard Zaunbrecher plan September nuptials

CROWLEY - Megan Lindsey Murphy of Rayne and Richard Edward Zaunbrecher of Crowley plan to unite as man in wife during a 6:30 p.m. nuptial ceremony at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Crowley.

Both Father Gary Schexnayder and Monsignor Robert Angelle will officiate the wedding on September 24, 2011.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Mary Murphy of Rayne. She is the maternal granddaughter of the late W.L. “Brother” and Murella Gilbert. She is the paternal granddaughter of the late Bobby and Doris Murphy.

Megan is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish. She is employed by Acadiana Oral and Facial Surgery in Lafayette.

The prospective groom is the son of Russel and Mary Zaunbrecher of Crowley. He is the maternal grandson of Jerry and Harriett Shea, Sr. of New Iberia and the paternal grandson of Anita Z. Francois and the late Raymond Zaunbrecher.

Richard is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and a 2009 graduate of ULL. He is presently employed by the LSU AgCenter Rice Research Station.
