The home of Hallie Andrus in Church Point served as the setting on Saturday, April 17, 2010 for a bridal shower held in honor of Blanche Monique Boudreaux of Rayne, bride-elect of Matthew John Boudreaux of Waco, Texas.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Boudreaux of Rayne.
The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David P. Boudreaux of Berwick.
Hosting the mid-day courtesy were Joyce Faulk, honoree’s maternal grandmother; and maternal aunts of the bride-elect, Angela Wall, Sheila Faulk and Donna Pasquier, along with Hallie Andrus.
A variety of brunch items was served to guests in attendance, in addition to beverages, all served on a decorated reception table topped with a spring floral arrangement.
For the special occasion, the bride-elect wore an ecru halter-style dupioni silk dress with a sweetheart neckline and pleated skirt belted with a self sash.
The honoree’s mother selected a sleeveless aqua and kiwi green belted floral sheath dress, while the prospective groom’s mother selected black crepe slacks with a long-sleeved collared black and white striped blouse.
Approximately 50 guests were in attendance from numerous points of Louisiana and Texas.
The couple will be married on Friday, June 11, 2010 during a 7 p.m. ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, followed by a reception at Le Grand Hall in Crowley.
