Mike Lee to seek Ward One’s marshal seat
Mike Lee, who assumed the duties of Ward One City Marshal is seeking this seat in the fall election. His announcement follows:
“It is my honor to ask you to keep me as your Ward One City Marshal. I am 57 years old and the son of Walter Lee and the late Florence Fontenot Lee. I am married to the former Susan Mead and the father of five children and two grandchildren.
“I am a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a decorated Vietnam vet. I have served as a deputy in St. Mary Parish and Nye County, Nevada. I am a member of the Louisiana Marshal’s Association, VFW, American Legion, Distinguished Flying Cross Association and Shadow Gunship Association.
“I own a successful business, Mike Lee Enterprises, and enjoy getting up each morning to serve you as your city marshal.
“Since taking office in January, I have made many improvements to better serve the people of Ward One and plan to make more in the future.
“I am experienced, honest, loyal and dedicated to the citizens of Ward One.
“Please allow me to continue serving you. Your vote will be deeply appreciated,” he said.
