A special note is extended by the outgoing 2013-2013 Miss Rayne Taylor Hollier, as follows:

Each obstacle in life starts a new chapter. Last August I started a chapter that would forever change the way I look at my hometown, create memories to cherish, and friends of a lifetime.

My travels as Miss Rayne have taken me places near and far, traveling across the state was an experience I will never forget, but none of those travels compared to the great things I got to do for my own city. Fright Fest, being Grand Marshal of the Christmas parade, Project Pink, The Fishing Derby, and so much more. Never would I have thought that a crown and banner would open up such big opportunities for me.

Over this past year I had the best support system any girl could ask for, and I have many people to thank for such a wonderful year as Miss Rayne.

Thank you God for all the blessings in life that you have given me, and keeping mom and I safe while making our travels.

This year as passed so quickly and now its time for me to pass down the title of Miss Rayne to another lucky girl! You are about to have an experience of a lifetime. And remember I’m only a Facebook message away. As I pass down the crown I will always remember what this great city had to offer me.
