Mobile Miles comes to Mamou; ribbon cutting held
Mobile Miles stops once-a-month at Savoy Cancer Center in Mamou. The next two stops are March 25, and April 22, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, you can just stop by Mobile Miles and they will provide you with support. You don’t need an appointment. Their services include emotional support, wigs, hats and scarves, mastectomy items, nutritional supplements, medical supplies, wellness programs, family events and cancer education. All of their services are free to anyone diagnosed with cancer. Patients don’t have to qualify to receive help. Pictured in the photo are members of the medical staff at Savoy Cancer Center and Care Team members from Miles Perret Cancer Services. They are joined by Mayor Wilda Chamberlain during a recent ribbon cutting ceremony at Savoy Cancer Center.
