Murphy, Prevost to exchange vows
Bob and Andrea Murphy of Crowley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Jami Claire Murphy and Timothy Andrew Prevost, of Rayne.
Jami is the granddaughter of Dean Comeaux and the late Ronald Comeaux of Crowley.
She is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish. In 2008, she earned a bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Currently Jami is pursuing her masters degree in counseling at UL and is employed by Gail Gillespie and Associates.
Tim is the son of Larry Prevost of Scott and Ellaine Prevost of Rayne. He is the grandson of the late Ulysses “Ducky” and Patricia Prevost of Rayne, Linda Minsky of Lafayette and Mr. and Mrs. Reynold Minsky of Lake Providence.
He is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish. Tim earned a bachelors degree in finance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2009 and is currently employed by Rayne State Bank.
The couple is planning an 11 a.m. nuptial Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley. The January 16 ceremony will be officiated by Father Matthew Higginbotham.
The couple will reside in Rayne following their vow exchange.
