NAUW Crowley branch conducts annual retreat

RAYNE - The annual planning retreat of the Crowley branch of the National Association of University Women was held at Chef Roy’s Frog City Café Friday.

Paula Cutrer, principal of Ross Elementary School, was the motivational speaker for the event.

The planning session consisted of reviewing the history of the National Association of University Women, finalizing the 2013-2014 calendar of events, formulating projects for the future and techniques for involvement of members –– recruiting, retaining and engaging members.

Linda Armstrong, past south-central sectional director, shared encouraging word with the group.

A delicious meal was served and an hour of fellowship enhanced the retreat.

President Cynthia Winburn coordinated the annual planning retreat committee.
