NAUW hosts Crowley’s Community Black History program

The National Association of University Women hosted the Crowley Community Black History Month Program on

Friday, February 27, at the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.

The highlight of the program was the community male chairman under the direction of Gordon Blunt, providing special tribute music to African American heroes.

This year’s program theme was “From chains to change: The dream fulfilled or the dream deferred?”

“Excellence in educators - Our promise for the future”, is the groups national theme.
