Rayne High HOSA claims national leadership competition

Thirteen students from Rayne High School’s HOSA chapter recently attended the Louisiana State Competition for Health Occupations students of America.
Rayne High School’s HOSA chapter was very successful and earned the right to advance to national competition.
RHS will have 12 representatives attending the HOSA National Leadership Competition in Orlando, Florida, June 25-30.
Members of the HOSA chapter who attended state competition were: Morgan Menard, Emily Dupont, Victoria Richard, and Briley Leon - placed first in Health Education; Mary Peltier and Sidney Fontenot - placed first in Forensic Science; they were also members of the HOSA Bowl with Carolyn Bergeron and Madison Vidal; Adagio Kanonu competed in Job Seeking Skills; Charlyne Peltier, Brooklyn Mire, Madison Vidal and Caroline Bergeron - placed second in Public Service Announcement as well as first place in Creative Problem Solving; and Anthony Lantini and Aaron Cutrer - placed first in Emergency Medical Technician, all under the direction of faculty sponsors Casie Ancelet and Paige Dupont.
