The biggest night on the Crowley Chamber of Commerce’s calendar will be held at the Grand Opera House of the South tonight (Thursday).
The annual Chamber Banquet will be preceded by a social hour and a silent auction beginning at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m., Crowley’s Jay Suire will take the mic and the banquet begins.
This year’s honorees will be Mike McBride, Businessman of the Year; Peggy Sandidge, Humanitarian of the Year; and Dylan King of Northside Christian School, Laura Schmid of Notre Dame High School and Leighton Killmer of Crowley High School, Crowley’s Outstanding Young Citizens.
The evening’s keynote speaker will be Michel Olivier, CEO of the Committee of 100 and former secretary of Louisiana Economic Development.
“The Crowley Chamber Annual Banquet is a great way to end of our Chamber Year, celebrating its many successes, while honoring people who make our community great,” said Crowley Chamber of Commerce CEO Amy Thibodeaux.
“This event also presents an opportunity for us to look forward, welcoming the new leadership of our organization, and thank those who have served so tirelessly over the past year,” Thibodeaux added.
