The Acadia Parish Republican Executive Committee recently held its quarterly meeting in Church Point. Rich Hughes of Crowley was appointed to fill a vacancy in District 1 which remained unfilled since the 2020 election. Hughes was administered the oath of office by Crowley City Judge M’elise Trahan.
