Todd Fontenot, the Louisiana State University AgCenter’s new Crawfish Agent, hauls in a crawfish trap at the Crowley Rice Research Station’s South Farm. Fontenot, who holds a degree in agronomy from Louisiana State University and is currently pursing his Ph.D. in Agriculture and Extension Education and Evaluation, began a career in farming in 1991, after he graduated from LSU.
