Rayne Police Memorial unveiled, dedicated

In memory of three fallen officers, a marble memorial was unveiled during solemn ceremonies Monday in front of the Rayne Police Station.

Rayne High School graduates 138

Rayne High School graduated a total of 138 seniors during the 2016 commencement exercises held at 9:30 a.m.

School Board budget on par

The Acadia Parish School Board is set to adopt a tight budget for fiscal year 2016-17 budget Monday.
