Council eyes date, time changes for meetings

During historic ceremonies held the morning of Monday, Dec. 4, at the Maison Daboval Bed & Breakfast (the Emile L. Daboval House, circa 1892), located at 305 E. Louisiana Ave., a plaque declaring the property having been named to the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior was unveiled by owners/operators Denise and Jerry Underwood. Here, the couple welcomes a large attendance, including special guests historians, past mayors, family members and friends.

Quick arrests made after shots fired
CROWLEY - Responding to the sound of shots being fired, Crowley Police officers arrested two men early Thursday morning on various weapons charges.
