More than 60 children turned out for Story Hour with Mrs. Claus Monday afternoon at the Acadia Parish Library Main Branch in Crowley. After reading to the children and their guardians, Mrs. Claus handed out treats to all. “With so many good little boys and girls Santa sure is going to be busy on Christmas Eve in Acadia Parish!” she was heard to say before leaving for her return trip to the North Pole.
CROWLEY - In addition to routine items brought before Tuesday’s regular meeting of the Acadia Parish School Board was an executive session that opened the 5 p.m. meeting.
