Modular jail cells back in spotlight

The improvements made during Heather Harper’s first year as CEO of Acadia General Hospital have been obvious and well-documented.


The Rayne Police Department is investigating several complaints of unauthorized use of an access card which occurred recently at several local businesses. These two persons of interest were captured on video surveillance and are described as white males, approximately 40-50 years of age, with medium builds. They may reside in the Crowley/Eunice area. If you can identify either of these men or have information on any other crime, you are urged to call the tips line at 789-TIPS / 789-8477. All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward.
