Nuptials to be exchanged in Baton Rouge

Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn LeJeune of Crowley are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Cherie Elizabeth, to Shaun Patrick Thibodaux, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glendy Thibodaux of Church Point.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Stanley and Myrtle Hoffpauir, and the late Hersey and Thelma LeJeune, all of Crowley.

Cherie is a 1997 graduate of Notre Dame High School, and was valedictorian of her class. She is also a 2002 graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.S. in chemical engineering. She is employed by Valero Corporation as a process engineer in Norco.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Joseph and Wilma Thibodeaux, of Gretna, and Clarence Bellamore and the late Dorothy Bellamore, also of Gretna.

Shaun is a 1997 graduate of Church Point High School, and is employed as a survey party chef for NTB Associates of Baton Rouge.

The couple is planning a May 17, wedding to be held at White Oak Plantation in Baton Rouge.

Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Prairieville.
