A & O 21st Century Club plans 2009 Beautillion
The 13th Annual Fall Beautillion, hosted annually by the A & O 21st Century Club of Rayne, will be presented on Saturday, Nov. 28, at the Rayne Civic Center.
Officers and members of A&O 21st Century Club, Inc. are pleased to reveal the identities of the five young men who will be introduced into society during the 2009 special event.
Festivities are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are currently on sale from members of the organization and the Beaux. Admission will be $10 per person.
The five Beaux are Darius Bonnom, Freddie Broussard, Patrick Gabriel Jr., Ja’Nathan Mouton and Ty Mouton.
Darius is the 16-year-old son of Vincent and Shellie Bonnom of Rayne. He is a junior at Rayne High School.
Freddie is the 17-year-old son of Freddie and Edra Broussard of Rayne. He is a junior at Rayne High School.
Patrick is the 17-year-old son of Patrick Gabriel and Elzina Jones of Rayne. He is a senior at Rayne High School.
Ty is the17 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Mouton of Rayne. He is a senior at Rayne High School.
Ja’Nathan is the 17-year-old son of Dominick Mott and Tiffany Mouton of Rayne. He is a junior at Rayne High School.
The A & O 21st Century Club, Inc. was founded in 1977 by Adam Batiste and Otis Young. The club is a non-profit, public service organization dedicated to working with everyday issues concerning mankind. Each year, the organization also provides scholarships to students.
The club also supports worthwhile and charitable organizations that enhance opportunities for young adults and the elderly.
Club officers are President Elton Landry, 1st Vice President Jessie White, 2nd Vice President Brian Seth Mouton, Secretary Phil Woods, Treasurer Felton Charles, Asst. Treasurer William Boards, Reporter Edward Senegal and Chaplin George Jackson.
Club members are Alexander Guidry, Ron Beverly Jr., Ezzie Charles, Joe Toby Chevis, Raymond McDowell IV, Keefer Young, James Richard, Lester Guidry, Anthony Garnder, Tim Mayfield and Lester Washington.
