Maureen Anne Lagrange, 54, of Lafayette died Friday, April
27, 2001, at her residence. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday,

Adelicia Guidry, 100, of Rayne died Friday, April 27,

Claude Cormier, 55, of Rayne will be buried with services

Joseph Richard
Funeral services will be held today, Sunday, April 29, at 2 p.m. in
St. Michael Catholic Church with Fr. Louis Richard officiating for Kearney
Joseph Richard, 54, who died at 7:26 p.m. Firday April 27, 2001, at
the American Legion Hosptial. Burial will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum
in Rayne La.
A rosary was recited at 6 p.m. on Saturday with visitation on Saturday
from 4 until 10 p.m., and on Sunday from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Survivors include one daughter Ashley Marie Richard of Crowley; three
brothers, Ivy, Curtis and Purvis Paul Richard all of Crowley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ovey and Agnes Gautreaux Richard;
and a brother, Joey Joseph Richard.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

Guidry Guillot, 91, who died Thursday April 28, 2001, at the Rayne Guest
Home.
Survivors include one daughter and her husband Norma Jean and James
F. Landry of Crowley; six grandchildren, Gwendolyn Jo Landry of Houston,
Joel Ellis and his wife Darlene Gaspard Landry of Crowley, Fay Alison
(Missy) and her husband Danny Smith of Deridder, Mona Lynn L. and her
husband Kenny Williams of Brusley, Michael Jude and his wife Michelle
Mire of Biloxi, Miss., Cheryle Ann and her husband Suire of DeRidder;
13 great grandchidren, Andrew Higginbotham and Logan Wilson Gregg, Joey,
Blaine, and Tyler Landry, Amber and Mandy Smith, Brent and Tricia Williams,
Claire and Michael Jude Landry II, and Todd S. and Courtney Suire.
Maw Maw Guillot was preceded in death her husband Wilson
J. Guillot.
Pallbearers were Joel and Michael and Joey Landry, Kenny Williams, Danny

Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Gossen

Ethelyn
McMillin Caillouet
SOUTH PARIS Ethelyn McMillin Caillouet, 81, died at Stephens
Memorial Hospital Thursday, April 26, 2001. She had been a patient at
the Maine Veterans Home in South Paris for the past 3 1/2 years.
Born at Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, the daughter of John J. and
Virginia Edgerly McMillin on March 10, 1920, Ethelyn move to Bethel
in 1923 where she attended Bethel schools graduating from Gould Academy
in 1940.
In 1940, she went to work at the South Portland, Maine, Shipyard for
two years, from there she joined the U.S. Army as a WAC, where she spent
two years of military duty. She married Francis H. Caillouet in 1944,
who was also in the Army, he died in 1977.
They soon left the military and moved to Louisiana, where she lived
for 37 years and raised her family of four children. Upon the death
of her husband, she spent her summers in Bethel and winters with her
children in Louisiana. She also worked for the Forrest Service for 10
years cleaning camp grounds.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church in Bethel,
the Mundt-Allen Post 81. Mrs. Caillouet enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf
and working in her flower gardens.
Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia and her husband C.E. Richardson,
of Texas, Brenda and her husband Brady Manual of Louisiana; two sons,
Keith and wife Pat Caillouet of Texas, Brian and his wife Rene Caillouet,
of Louisiana; eight grandchildren, Sean Richardson, Courtney Caillouet,
Paige Caillouet, Jason Manual, Heather Radigan, Amanda Thompson, Amy
Fuller and David Caillouet; six great grandchildren, Ryan, Colton, Savanna,
McRae, Samantha and Daniel; four sisters, Edna Curtis of West Paris,
Kay McMillin of Bethel, Jo Monahan of Bethel and Nikki Miller of Berkeley,
Calif.
She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Roderick and Frederick McMillin;
and her twin sister Evelyn Merrill.

POINT Marie L. Johnson, 87, of Church Point died Thursday,
April 26, 2001, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Funeral services
will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, at Our Mother of Merch Catholic
Church. Burial will be in Our Mother of Mercy Cemetery. Duhon Funeral
Home of Church Point is in charge of arrangements.

A. Hetzel, Sr.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 28 at 2 p.m. in St. Michaels
Catholic Church for Carl A. Hetzel, Sr., 72, who died at 1:31 a.m. Friday,
April 27 at Lafayette General Hospital. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery
and a rosary was recited Friday evening at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home.
Fr. Louie Richard conducted the services.
Hetzel, a longtime Acadia Parish farmer, was a veteran of the U.S. Air
Force after serving the military during the Korean War. He was a member
of St. Michaels Catholic Church and American Legion Post 15.
Survivors include his three sons and their daughters, Carl A. Hetzel,
Jr. of Crowley and Mark K., Mark W. Hetzel of Crowley and Jackie, and
Eric P. Hetzel of Crowley and Catherine; three daughters and their husbands,
Valerie Fabacher and Francis of Iota and Lynn Ann Arceneaux and Freddie
of Meaux; one sister, Shirley Reed of Iota; 12 grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
Mr. Hetzel was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Marguerite
Hetzel, his wife, Regina Jagfeld Hetzel and a granddaughter, Caitlin
Hetzel.
Pallbearers will be William Carl Hetzel, Dwight Arceneaux, David Fabacher
and Micah Fabacher.

Theresa Catholic Church for Catherine Cat Clement, 41, who
died Tuesday, April 24, 2001, at University Medical Center a lengthy
illness.

JENNINGS - Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 24,
at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Chapel for Narris Joseph Pecan
LeBlanc, 73, who died at 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2001, at Jennings
American Legion Hospital.
Reverend Donald Pousson officiated for the services. Burial was held
in Istre Cemetery with full military rites.
Visitation was observed on Monday from 3:30-10 p.m. and on Tuesday from
8 a.m. until the time of services.
Survivors include two sons, Jonathan Boyd LeBlanc of Houma and Gary
Gene Treadwell of Pineville; two brothers, Elge A. LeBlanc of Lake Charles
and Milton LeBlanc of Tupelo, Miss.; two sisters, Ruby Pousson of Mermentau
and Barbara Pedigo of DeRidder; three grandchildren.

Cody Breausx and Ricky Istre.

Mr. LeBlanc was a native of Mermentau and a resident of the Mermentau/Midland
area. He was a Seaman 1st Class in the Navy. He was a brakeman for Southern
Pacific Railroad. He was a member of the VFW.

Jonathan
James Degroat, 22, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Easter Sunday,
April 15,
2001, after a long illness. He was a graduate of Bay High School, a
student at Gulf Coast Community College, and a volunteer at Patronis
Elementary School. He attended Panama City First Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his parents, Art and Gloria Degroat of Panama City;
one brother, Jeremy Degroat of Pittsburgh, Penn.; and grandparents,
James and Dorothy Hoffpauir of Crowley., and Arthur Degroat Sr. of Alexandria.
His grandmother, Mamie Stieber Degroat, and his step-grandmother, Eva
Miller Degroat, precede him in death.
Friends visited at Southerland Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday,
April 17. Pastors Joe and Kim Purl officiated for a short memorial service
at the end of the visitation.
A homegoing service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Pineville,
on Friday, with burial immediately following.

second grade at East Beauregard Elementary School. She played basketball
and was an honor student. She was a beginner in music lessons, studying
the violin and she loved to fish.

at Landmark Nursing Home in Crowley Saturday, April 14, 2001.

She is survived by a brother, Lawrence Heinen and his wife, Louise of
Vinton; two sisters, Josephine Millet and her husband, Malcolm of Crowley,
and Hilda Heinen of Crowley; one sister-in-law, Lenora Heinen of Rayne;
and 17 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas P. Heard Jr.; her parents,
William Christian and Christine Naebers Heinen; one brother, Charlie
Heinen; and two sisters, Arilda Leonards and Annie Gautreaux.
Geraldine was an avid bowler, having served as treasurer and board member
for the Louisiana Bowling Association for many years. She also was a
member of St. Leo Altar Society.
Visitation was Monday from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Tuesday 8 a.m. until
the time of services. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday.
Pallbearers were Dr. Chad Millet, Mark Millet, William C. Heinen, Eric
Heinen, Richard Heinen and Paul Leonards.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Allen Foreman Sr., and
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George L. Larriviere Sr.

of the St. Joseph Lay Carmelite Community.

his maternal grandfather, John Breaux of Lafayette; and his paternal
grandmother, Lucille Shocky Miers of Crowley.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elrida Trahan
Breaux; and his paternal grandfather, Wallace J. Miers.
A native and lifelong resident of Lafayette, Paul was a sophomore at
Lafayette High School where he was member of Renaissance, the Fellowship
of Christian Athletes and SADD (Students Against Drunk Drivers).
Active in sports, he was on the baseball, football and track teams at
Lafayette High School and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Paul was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Community and the Holy
Cross Youth Group.
A rosary will be prayed Sunday at 7 p.m. in the funeral Home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4 until 9 p.m.
Sunday and from 8 a.m. until the time of services Monday.

Monceaux; four half sisters, Maydola Broussard, Azelima Prejean, Eumella
Faulk and Eugenie Stelly.

Jamey Monceaux, Chad Monceaux and Jared Monceaux.
Mr. Monceaux worked in the shipyards in New Orleans until he was drafted
into the Army in 1944. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served
in World War II as combat infantryman and squad leader in the Pacific
War Phillipines Battle. He was awarded the Purple Heart and two Bronze
Stars for the Asiatic Pacific Campaign and one Bronze Star for the Phillipine
Liberation. He remained a lifetime member of the Purple Heart Club.
Following his discharge in 1946, he moved to Oberlin, where he excelled
in the rice farming profession. In 1973, he received a certificate of
award from the Soil Conservation Service. He was one of the first parish
farmers in Allen Parish to install on the farm drying and storage facilities.
In 1974, he was chosen Allen Parish Farmer of the Year by the Allen
Parish Farm Bureaux and served on the Board of Directors of Allen Parish
Farm Bureau. He was a member of the Allen Parish Sheep Association and
was involved with 4-H Livestock Shows.
In Oberlin, he was active at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, having
served on the building committee of the church education building and
served as an usher for 24 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus
Council 3353, where he served as Grand Knight and District Deputy on
the state level. He was a lifetime member of the Fourth Degree Knights
of Columbus.
He was an active citizen of the Oberlin community. He was charter member
and first president of the Oberlin Athletic Association, past president
of the Oberlin Chamber of Commerce, member and post commander of the
American Post 144, past president of the Allen Parish Association for
Retarded Children, past Grand Commander of the Caravan of the Order
of Alhambra and past charter president and member of the Lions Club
in Oberlin.
Following his retirement from farming in 1979, he started his new career
with the Louisiana Lions Club as manager and driver of the Lions Club
Glaucoma and Diabetic Mobile Unit. He and his wife, Gertie, drove the
Lions Club van until 1992. In 1990, he moved to Crowley, where he remained
active in local chapters of Knights of Columbus, American Legion and
Purple Heart Club. He was a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church
and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Percy was an avid Saints fan and Merle Haggard fan. He loved Cajun music.
He will always be remembers for his jokes and storytelling which were
a constant entertainment for family and friends.
Born June 14, 1921, in Indian Bayou, he was the son of Eumell and Lelia
Monceaux. His wife of 60 years is the former Gertrude Broussard of Lyons
Point.

died at 11:37 a.m. Sunday, April 8, 2001, at American Legion Hospital

and her husband, John of Thibodaux; his mother, Laura Savoie of Crowley;
and six grandchildren.
He was loved by his wife and kids as a local Cajun musician, Jean Savoie
and the Bayou Ramblers. He began playing Cajun music at the age of 18.
Born in Crowley, he learned to play the accordion by listening to other
performers. He was discovered by accordionist Marc Savoy, when he was
asked to play two songs. He played with Blackie Fruge, followed by a
12 year stint on drums, guitar and bass with Bobby Leger.
Savoie and Bayou Ramblers have toured all over the United States. He
has toured with Jana Jay and other popular musicians. Savoie and the
Bayou Ramblers have recorded several albums. Some of his compositions
are Shamrock, Bon Jour Louisiana, Hey
Mama, La Balance Du La Vie and A Man Alone.
The one thing that Jean has wanted all his life is to preserve the Cajun
music culture. Cajun music is what he was born to and Cajun he was until
the end. He did it all with his heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Savoie; one grandson,
Aaron Savoie; and his father-in-law, Leroy J. Broussard.

Mr. Cart died at 6 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2001, at Landmark Retirement
Center.
Survivors include his wife, Inez Lantz Cart of Crowley; one son and
daughter-in-law, Russell and Bobbie Cart of Lake Charles; one daughter
and son-in-law, Shelby Cart Lafleur and Byron Lafleur of Crowley; two
sisters, Iris Cart Ortego and Ella Cart Miller, both of Baton Rouge;
seven grandchildren, Kimberly Cart Ardoin, Sherry Cart Lyons, Rusty
Cart and Kevin Cart, all of Lake Charles, Kristi Cart Fontenot of Roanoke,
Mike Lafleur of Mandeville and Stacie Lafleur of Lafayette; and 17 great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ewell, Currell and Vernon
Cart; and one sister, Vallie Cart.

Steve Lyons, Matt Fontenot and Field Landry.
Mr. Cart was born in Iota and received his basic education in the Iota
public school system. He later attended SLI (now the University of Louisiana
at Lafayette).
Throughout his adult life, he maintained two concurrent careers
both as owner and operator of Carts Grocery and Acadia Parish
Police Jury President-Manager. He has had the second longest tenure
as police jury president in Acadia Parish history.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II and served on the USS
New Mexico which, at the time, was the flagship for the Pacific Fleet
Commander.
He was first elected as Police Jury president in 1961 and was later
appointed to serve concurrently as parish manager. He held this dual
position until his retirement in 1980. During this time, he also served
a term as president of the Louisiana State Police Jury Association.
He has been an active member of the American Legion since 1946, serving
a term as Commander of local Post 15. In this capacity, he was active
in obtaining the current Post building in Crowley. He was also a member
of the board of managers of the Crowley American Legion Hospital.
He was a member of the Evangeline Economic and Planning District, Lafayette,
board of directors since its inception, having also served on the executive
committee as treasurer.
For many years Mr. Cart served on the LISA (Louisiana Intracoastal Seaway
Association) board of directors.
Other accomplishments include a membership on the Acadia Parish Library
Board, involvement in the Rice Museum and other tourism endeavors and
he was instrumental in the development and implementation of Acadian
Ambulance service in the Acadia Parish area.

Mr. Duhon died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2001, in Jennings American
Legion Hospital.
His body was donated to the Bureau of Anatomical Services in New Orleans.

A native of Crowley, he had lived in Jennings for 32 years. He was a
resident of Jeff Davis Living Center. He served in the United States
Army during World War II and was a retired heavy equipment operator
since 1988.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Anna and Rick Romero
and Sharon and Mike Romero, all of Jennings; three sisters, Russie Duhon
of Lafayette, and Elgin Leleux and Alberta Matte, both of Crowley; six
grandchildren, Dana Richard, Jennifer Boudreaux, Jessica Carter, Joel,
Patrick and Miranda Romero; three great grandchildren, Kassidy and Keagan
Richard and Gracie Boudreaux, all of Jennings; and many very loved nieces
and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Edmay Duhon; two
sisters, Dolores Duhon and Deanna Richard; and two nephews, Bubba and

He was a retired rice farmer and member of the Crowley Rotary Club with
43 years of perfect attendance. he was a Shriner for 27 years, a Mason
and a life-long member of the First United Methodist church in Crowley,
having served several times as chairman of the board of that church.

Florence Magnon Blum
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, at Immaculate
Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Mrs. Florence Magnon Blum, 84, who
died at 2:15 a.m., Thursday, April 5, 2001, at American Legion Hospital.
Father Joseph Greenwell will officiate for the services. Burial will
be held in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be observed on Friday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and
on Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Pierce and her husband, Wallace
of Crowley, and Alberta Atcheson and her husband, Bob of Dallas, Ga.;
one son, Carrol Magnon of Crowley; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Blum was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Magnon; one grandson,
Audney Pierce; parents, Amande and Nemesie Mayer; three brothers and
three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, at St.
Michael Catholic Church for Joseph Louis LeBlanc, 76, who died at 6:52
p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at Crowley American Legion Hospital.
Father Louis Richard and Father Russell Harrington will con-celebrate
for the services. Burial will be held in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery
in Mermentau.
Visitation will be observed on Friday from 4:30-9 p.m. and on Saturday
from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Laurents LeBlanc of Crowley; two
sons, Michael L. LeBlanc of Palm Bay, Fla., and Douglas J. LeBlanc of
Crowley; one daughter, Karen LeBlanc Simon of Baytown, Texas; two brothers,
Albert J. LeBlanc of Houston and Johnnie E. LeBlanc of Angleton, Texas;
five sisters, Bertha L. Sansoni of Los Banos, Calif., Helen LeBlanc
of Crowley, Joyce L. LeBouef of Lafayette, Celeste L. Robair of Alexandria
and Bonnie L. Smith of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph LeBlanc.
Mr. LeBlanc served in the United States Navy for 20 years and was a
veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was employed by the Acadia
Parish Sheriffs Office for 20 years.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Beatrice Simon Schexnayder,
80, who died at 8 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2001, at Integrated Health
Services of Kaplan.
Burial will be held in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Lyons Point.
Visitation will be observed on Friday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and
on Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Survivors include two sons, Riley Schexnayder and his wife, Gloria of
Crowley, and Johnnie Schexnayder and his wife, Charlene of Lyons Point;
two daughters, Magdalen S. Duhon and her husband, Glenn of Kaplan, and
Carlena S. Knight and her husband, Ray of Crowley; one brother, Wilfred
Simon of Crowley; three sisters, Alicia Touchet, Lorena Primeaux and
Velta Simon, all of Lyons Point; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Schexnayder was preceded in death by her husband, Edvar Schexnayder;
parents, St. Cyr and Edith Simon; three brothers, Eldes, Alzie and Ferdie
Simon; and one sister, Bernice Primeaux.
She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church
and served in the Ladies Altar Society.
Pallbearers will include R.J., Lee, Randall, Bryan, Radley and Shane
Schexnayder, Glenn Jr. and Gabe Duhon, Aaron Knight and Dwayne Schexnayder.
Gift bearers will include Connie Schexnayder, Shonda Efferson and Jacqueline
Munnerlyn.

Funeral Home Chapel for Mae Stakes Curtis, 68, who died at 4:15 p.m.
Tuesday, April 3, 2001, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.
Reverend L.C. Lord will officiate for the services. Burial will be held
in Old Crowley Cemetery.
Visitation will be observed on Friday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and
on Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
Survivors include two daughters, Ramona Curtis Jobe of Broussard and
Belinda Curtis Boudreaux of Nevada; three brothers, Earl and Arthur
Stakes, both of Crowley and Robert Stakes of Evangeline; one sister,
Charlotte S. Primeaux of Crowley; and one grandson, Andrew Jobe of Broussard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Edmonia Stakes; her
husband, Russell A. Curtis; and a daughter, Jennifer Curtis.
Mrs. Curtis was a resident of Crowley and a member of Parkerson Avenue
Baptist Church. A member of the Golden Ages Club, she was also a member
and past queen of the Rice City Senior Citizens Club.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, at St.
Michael Catholic Church for Olite Broussard Satchell, 95, who died at
noon on Monday, April 2, 2001, at Crowley Guest House.
Father Louis Richard will officiate for the services. Burial will be
held in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be observed on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time
of services.
Survivors include two great-nephews, Chris Wilkey and Tommy McNeely;
three great-nieces, Sissy McNeely Gall, Kathy McNeely Sherwood and Susan
McNeely Pistorius; nine great-great nieces and nephews; and two great-great-great
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Satchell; one brother,
Isaac Broussard; three sisters, Agnes Duhon, Edesse Alford and Ena Meaux.
Mrs. Satchell was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and served
for many years as a Pink Lady at the American Legion Hospital.

Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Girsay Stoute Abshire, 90, who died
at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, April 1, 2001, at Jennings American Legion Hospital.
Reverend Lynn Whitaker and Reverend John Couch officiated for the services.
Burial was held in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation was observed on Monday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and on
Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
Survivors include one son, Noah Abshire Jr. and his wife, Josie of Jennings;
one daughter, Mary A. Douget and her husband, Lonie of Crowley; two
brothers, Lawrence and John Stoute, both of Crowley; one sister, Leota
Gray of St. Bernard; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three
great-great grandchildren; and a godchild, Kenneth Abshire.
She was preceded in death by her father, Armand Stoute; mother, Laura
Robert Stoute; husband, Noah Abshire Sr.; three sisters and one brother.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to First United
Pentecostal Church in Crowley.
Pallbearers were Anthony Douget, Pat Douget, Kenneth Abshire, Rod Richard,
Ronald Domingue and Ronnie Stoute.

Funeral services for Mary Davis Kebodeaux, 92, of Crowley, will be held
at 1:30 p.m. today, Sunday, April 1, at St. Michael Catholic Church.

Cemetery.
Visitation was from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. Saturday, and continues from
8 a.m. until the time of services today.
Mrs. Kebodeaux died Thursday, March 29, 2001, at 10:44 p.m. at Our Lady
of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by one son, James WIlfred Kebodeaux of Rayne; three
daughters, Ethel Clark of Rayne, Joyce Kebodeaux of Scott, and Lena
Bourque of Crowley; one sister, Beulah Fontenot of Roberts Cove; 11
grandchildren, 16 great-grand children and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

E. Katie Milligan
Graveside services for Katherine Elizabeth Katie Milligan,
infant daughter of Barry Scott and Kristin Michele Crew Milligan of
Shreveport, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday March 29, 2001, at the Rayne
Cemetery Inc.
In addition to her parents, Katherine is also survived by her sister,
Madison Fair Milligan of Shreveport; maternal grandparents, Robert and
Jacque Crew of Natchitoches; maternal great grandparents, Jack and Margie
McLamore of Natchitoches, and Buddy and Doris Miller of Shreveport.
Survivors also include her paternal grandparents, Dr. Edward and Laura
K. Milligan of Palestine, Texas; paternal great grandparents, Helen
Milligan of Rayne, Frank and Fair Craig King Hash of Rayne, and James
and Doris King of Lake Charles.
She is also survived by her uncles, Reggie Milligan of Baton Rouge and
Cory Crew of Natchitoches, and aunts Lindsey Milligan and Kasey Milligan,
both of Palestine, and Ashley Crew of Natchitoches.
