Ernest Charles
Houghton

  Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Ernest Charles Houghton, 71, who died at 5:35 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2005 at his residence.
Monsignor Russel Harrington will officiate for the services. The visitation will be observed Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 11 a.m.
  Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Boudreaux Houghton of Crowley; four children, Phyllis A. Houghton of Covington, Ernest “Chuck” Houghton Jr. of Breaux Bridge, Mona Viator and her husband, David of Lafayette and Tracy Brown and her husband Gary of Mesa, Az.; six grandchildren, Fawn Viator, Logan Houghton, Ashley Brown, Cory Viator, Matthew Brown and Taylor Houghton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Cross Houghton and Lucille Deshotel Houghton and one sister, Loretta Houghton Matthews.
  Pallbearers are David Viator, Cory Viator, Troy Hebert, Gary Brown, Joel Faulk and Mike Stevens. Honorary pallbearers are Emile Chaillot, J.D. Ricks, Mike Harson, Matthew Brown, Logan Houghton and Phillip Cagnina.

RAYNE – Lexie Renae Lively, 4, died Sunday, July 17 at Women and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 21 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel. Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne has been entrusted with the arrangements.

RAYNE – Wilda Stutes Guillot, 82, died Sunday, June 26, 2005 at a Houston hospital. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23 at Centenary United Methodist Church in Rayne. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

CHURCH POINT – Darwin Abram Thibodeaux, 63, died Friday, July 15, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 20 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church mausoleum under the direction of Guidry Funeral Home of Church Point.

Ralph J. Jones
CROWLEY – Graveside services were held Monday, July 18 at 4 p.m. at the Old Crowley Cemetery for Ralph James "Buddy" Jones, 86 who died Sunday, July 17 at 10 a.m. at Southwind Assisted Living. Rev. Mark Strickland from the United Methodist Church officiated at the services.
Survivors include two nieces, Judy Bomgren of Powderly, Texas and Jane Kelley of Garland, Texas and special family friends, Stan and Sissy Gall of Crowley and their children, Ian, Anna and Ted.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, James and Edna Foreman Jones and one brother, Haynes Jones.
"Buddy" was a quiet adventurer. He was a proud veteran of Wold War II where he served in the U.S. Army as a company clerk for the engineering unit, which was active during the war rebuilding bridges. Buddy owned and operated a service station in Lafayette and was a master mechanic as well as a pilot. He worked in many other jobs, everything from construction work in Morocco to an offshore cook, to a skilled woodworker. He enjoyed camping, raced dirt bikes and loved to read. He shared his love of the outdoors with many throughout the years. He celebrated life with all its ups and downs and was a positive force and an inspiration to all who knew him.
The family requests memorial contributions to Hospice of Acadiana, the First United Methodist Church or the Acadia Parish Library.
Arrangements were entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral of Crowley.

Jacquelyn Dupont Ohlenforst
RAYNE – Funeral services will be held Monday, July 18, 2005, at 2 p.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church in Roberts Cove for Jacquelyn Dupont Ohlenforst, 62, who died Friday, July 15 at her residence.
Visiting hours will be Sunday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Interment will be in St. Leo Cemetery in Robert Cove.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Francis "Tommy" Thomas Ohlenforst of Roberts Cove; one daughter, Annette Simon and her husband Randy and two children Josh and Layla, of Rayne; two sons, Thomas Joseph "Joey" Ohlenforst and his wife Susan and three children, T.J., Jacob and William, of Roberts Cove, Marcus Ohlenforst and his wife Brenda and three children Miranda, Tyler and Shelyn, of California; one sister, Carola Dupont Mitchell and her husband Johnny, of Covington; one brother, James Dupont and his wife Jewell, of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Dupont and Amelia Royer Dorr and one brother, Marion Dupont.
Mrs. Ohlenforst was a Native of Crowley and a resident of Roberts Cove. She was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Wildlife and Fisheries.
She was involved with the Faith Renewal program and a servant to the Lord. Her faith touched all that knew her and involved with the Germanfest.

James Phillip “Bob” Miller
IOTA – Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 17, 2005, at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota for James Phillip “Bob”Miller, 77, who died at 3:40 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2005 at Christus Schumpert Health Systems in Shreveport.
Father David Broussard, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The visitation will be observed Saturday from 2:30 p.m. until time of services on Sunday.
A rosary will be recited Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Dolores M. Edwards and her husband Jesse of Mooringsport, Doris M. Montelaro and her husband Lucien of Eunice and Doreene Miller of Iota; two sons, Roderick Miller and his wife Barbara of Crowley and Bobby Miller and his wife Yvonne of Iota; four sisters, Jean Hebert of Iota, Meritta Touchet and her husband Earl of Jennings, Nell Pellegrin and her husband Joe of Houma and Antionette Miller of Iota; two brothers, Frederick L. Miller and his wife Mary of Port Neches, Tx., and George Miller and his wife Katherine of Houma; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Miller was preceded in death by his wife, Rena Lejeune Miller; his parents, Jeff and Louise Reed Miller; one daughter, Wanda Miller; one brother, Rodney Miller; one sister, Evelyn Miller and one brother-in-law, L.C. Hebert.
Pallbearers will be Ritchey Miller, Brian Miller, Billy Miller, Keegan Romaine, Paul “Chippy” Miller and Louis Montelaro.

CROWLEY – Carlton Joseph Fontenot, 65, died Thursday, July 14, 2005 at American Legion Hospital in Crowley. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Monday, July 18 at Geesey-Ferguson Chapel in Iota. Burial will be in Iota Cemetery under the direction of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Iota.

CHURCH POINT – Oscar Daigle Jr, 78, died Thursday, July 14, 2005 at his residence in Church Point. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 16 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery with Guidry Funeral Home of Church Point in charge of arrangements.

CHURCH POINT – James Kearney Leger, 56, died Thursday, July 14, 2005 at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 17 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery under the direction of Guidry Funeral Home of Church Point.

Abby LeJeune
JENNINGS – Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Iota for Abby LeJeune, 87, who died Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Rev. David Broussard will officiate for the services. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed Thursday from 8 a.m. until service time. A rosary was recited Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. LeJeune was a native and resident of Egan.
Survivors include two sons, Claudrey LeJeune and his wife Angela of Egan and Harry LeJeune and his wife Anita of Iota; five brothers, Lloyd Pousson of Crowley, Walter Pousson of Westlake, Elias Pousson of Mermentau, Egnas Pousson of Crockett, Texas and August Pousson of Beaumont, Texas; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews and Son Funeral Home of Jennings.

CHURCH POINT – Avery “Choppy” Guidry, 87, died Monday, July 11, 2005 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 14 at Our Mother of Mercy Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Church Point.

Marie Petry Franks
CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 13 at 2 p.m. at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Marie Petry Franks, 72, who died Saturday, July 9, 2005 at 4:20 p.m. in Sugar Land, Texas.
Rev Richard Oglesby, pastor of Community Christian Assembly, will conduct the funeral services and the graveside service at Ebenezer Methodist cemetery.
Visitation will be observed Tuesday at 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Wednesday at 8 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Franks was a native of Crowley she lived in China, Texas and spent her later years in Sunset and enjoyed baby sitting and selling Watkins products.
Survivors include her two sons, Wayne Jannise of Fertile, Iowa, Ricki Jannise and his wife Sally of Katy, Texas; two brothers, George Petry of Heber Springs, Ark. and Michael Petry of Orange, Texas; two sisters, Margaret Manuel of China, Texas and Melba Boudreaux of Wyoming, Penn.; five grandchildren, Christopher, Angela, Ricki, Jr., Corey and Kelli, two great grandchildren, Julie and Chandler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Quint Marion Petry and Louise Bertrand Petry, one sister, Sybil Laurence and two brothers, Quint Petry, Jr. and Henry Petry.

CHURCH POINT – Robert Matte, 60, died Friday, July 8, 2005 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 10 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Guidry Funeral Home of Church Point.

Inez B. Credeur
RAYNE – Funeral services will be held Monday, July 11 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church for Inez Breaux Credeur, 79, who died Saturday, July 8, 2005 at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Fr. Buddy Breaux will officiate for the services. Burial will be in St. Joseph #2 Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until service time. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include one son, Edward Credeur Jr. of Rayne; three daughters, Barbara Marceaux of Midland and Gail Petri and Darlene Trahan, both of Crowley; one sister, Ethel Mouton of Rayne; one brother, Lenes Breaux of Rayne; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Credeur; one great grandson, Casey Cahanin; her parents, Lucille Boudreaux and Clemille Breaux; three brothers, Ignace Camile and Gladie Breaux Sr.; two sisters, Eress Stafford and Gladys Bergeron.

Wayne P. LeBlanc
CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 10 at 1 p.m. at the Duhon Funeral Home for Wayne Phillip LeBlanc, 34, who died Tuesday, July 5, 2005 in Crowley.
Father Matthew Higginbotham will officiate for the services. Burial will be in Abshire Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed Sunday from 8 a.m. until service time. A rosary was recited Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include two brothers, Tim LeBlanc and his wife Cindy of Crowley and Anthony LeBlanc of Port Charlotte, Fla; two sisters, Trudy Badeaux and her husband Kenneth of Egan and Melissa LeBlanc of Crowley; one daughter Hannah Sonnier of Crowley; 13 nieces and nephews; two great nieces and nephews and a best friend, Vickie and her sons, Seth, Devin and Bryan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria and Melton LeBlanc; his paternal grandparents, Claude and Mae LeBlanc and his maternal grandparents, William and Edith Gautreaux.
He was a native of Crowley and a resident of Florida.

Louella C. Davis
CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held Monday, July 11 at 11 a.m. at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel for Louella Cormier Davis, 67, who died Thursday, July 7, 2005 at her residence in Crowley.
Brother Kenneth Morvant will officiate for the services. Burial will be in Ky Hebert Cemetery in Roberts Cove. Visiting hours will be observed Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until service time.
Survivors include one son, Richard John Davis of Limestone, Tenn.; two daughters, Patricia Ann Bobo of Crowley and Sharon Christine Morvant of Farmersville, Texas; one sister, Gloria Thomas of Crowley; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Davis; her parents, Willie and Hazel Smith Cormier and two sisters.

Julius P. Beard
CROWLEY – Funeral services were held Saturday, July 9 at 10 a.m. at Northside Assembly of God for Julius Paul Beard, 67, who died Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at his residence.
Brother Loyd Singley officiated for the services. Burial was in LeBlanc Cemetery. Visiting hours was observed Friday from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
Survivors include his wife, Janelle Beard of Crowley; one daughter, Melanie Richard of Abbeville; three sons, Terry Beard of Crowley, Patrick Beard of Atlanta and Lloyd Beard of Crowley; one brother, Russell Beard of Crowley; one niece, Edith Lake of Kaplan; one nephew, Chad Beard of Egan and three grandchildren, Kristie Jagneaux and Dyllon Jagneaux, both of Abbeville and Rachel Beard of Atlanta.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edith Murphy Beard and his step-mother, Melanie Beard.

Reverend Jack Walton
LONGVIEW, Texas – The Reverend Jack Walton was born on May 21, 1929 and died Wednesday, July 6, 2005. A memorial service will be held at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Longview, Texas Saturday, July 9, at 10 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Hallsville Cemetery.
Brother Jack spent the majority of his life serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His ministry started at Midland Baptist Mission in Midland in 1959. Recently he has been involved in Gospel meetings all around the surrounding areas. He has preached the Gospel with his life more than he could have ever done from the pulpit.
Papaw and Mamaw were married for 56 years. His love for her burned brighter with every day they spent together. He was the rock of the family, unbreakable because of his faith. He loved his three children, seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren, spending time with each of them like they were the only ones around.
Brother Jack is survived by his loving wife, Mary Garrick Walton. They have three children, Donald Walton of Longview, Tommy Walton of Longview and Madeline Walton of Hallsville, along with seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Jack Walton Memorial Fund at Woodland Hills Baptist Church, 2105 E. Loop 281, Longview, TX 75605.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

Ella L. Stanford
CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2005 at Saint Michael’s Chapel in Egan for Ella Leger Stanford, 97, who died at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2005 in Crowley.
Fr. David Broussard, pastor of Saint Joseph Catholic Church of Iota, will officiate for the Mass of Christian burial. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening. Visitation will be observed from 9:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday and on Friday from 8 a.m. until time of services. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Stanford was an active member of the Egan community, having been instrumental in the founding of the Egan Community Center.
Mrs. Stanford is survived by her son, Alton Stanford and his wife Patricia; her daughter, Audrey Truax and her husband Shelby, all of Egan; a brother, Frank B. Leger of Crowley; nine grandchildren, Byron Stanford and his wife Renae; Todd Stanford, Scott Stanford and his wife Angela "K.K.," Patty Gatte and her husband Nacis, Shelby Jean Truax, Glynda T. Thevis and her husband Mike, Ricky Truax and his wife Mary Jo, Geralyn T. Pousson and her husband John and Debbie T. Hebert and her husband Cecil; 24 great grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, O.P. Stanford, two brothers, Rufus and Mitchell Leger, two sisters, Emma L. Miller and Viola L. Lantz and two great-great grandchildren, Jacob Zaunbrecher and Rustin Roy Cassedy.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Truax, Michael Thevis, John Pousson, Cecil Hebert, Ben Gatte, Byron Stanford, Todd Stanford and Scott Stanford. Andrew Hebert will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Gift bearers for the Mass will be Jackie Voitier and Gretchen Cassedy and the reader will be Audrey Hebert.

BRISTOL – Ollie Mae Davis, 86, died Friday, July 1, 2005 at Acadia-St. Landry Nursing Home in Church Point. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9 at Sunrise B.C. Church in Bristol. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Eunice.

CROWLEY – Brenda Foreman Goodson, 51, died Sunday, July 3, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 5 at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Church Point.

Carol S. Wilson
CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 10 a.m. in the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Carol Semons Wilson, 52, who died Sunday, July 3, 2005.
Rev. Wayne Cooper, pastor of First Baptist Church, Iota will officiate for the services. Visiting hours will be observed Wednesday from 8 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Maxie Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Rod Wilson of Wimberley, Texas; one daughter, Laura Hudson and her husband Thomas of Denver, Colo.; one son, Billy Kelly of Denham Springs; one grandson, Brendon Hudson of Denver; her mother, Estelle A. Semons of Maxie; three sisters, Pat Morgan of Kaplan, Thelma Foreman of Lafayette and Nancy Frederick of Cecelia; two brothers, William Semons of Lafayette and Jimmy Semons of Baton Rouge.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her father, Edward Lee Semons.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 6 with time pending at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church mausoleum under the direction of Guidry Funeral Home of Church Point.

Mabel F. Trahan
CROWLEY – Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 5 at 3:30 p.m. at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Mabel Faulk Trahan, 93, who died Sunday, July 3, 2005 at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Deacon Rodless Leleux will officiate for the services. Visiting hours were observed Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to service time. A rosary was recited at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Trahan is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Trahan; her parents, Oscar, Sr. and Evela Broussard Faulk; two sisters and three brothers.

RAYNE – Ardie Sarver, 72, died Monday, July 4, 2005 at Lafayette General Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 6 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Indian Bayou Methodist Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne.

CHURCH POINT – Rita Latiolais, 81, died Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Opelousas General Hospital. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 5 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Old Church Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home.

CROWLEY – Betty Lou Bott Romero, 70, died Saturday, July 2, 2005 in Crowley. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 4 at Geesey-Ferguson Chapel. Burial will be in the Quebodeaux Cemetery under the direction of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home.

RAYNE – James Herbert Labauve Jr., 39, died Sunday, July 3, 2005 at his residence in Crowley. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 5 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home.

CHURCH POINT – Leola Mae L. Hanks, 60, died Sunday, July 3, 2005 at Doctors Hospital in Opelousas. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 at St. Edwards Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Church Point.

Audrey J. Edwards Isbell
BATON ROUGE – Funeral services will be held Friday, July 1 at 2:30 p.m. at the First Church of Nazarene for Audrey Josephine Edwards Isbell, 84, who was received in the hands of Jesus on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at Sunrise Assisted Living.
Rev. Richard Cook and Rev. Clint Benn will officiate for the services. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Visiting hours will be observed Friday at the church from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
She married Rev. Robert Andrew Isbell on June 12, 1940. To this union three children were born, they are Marjorie Dorris and husband Harold of Oklahoma City, Charles Isbell and wife Angela of Baton Rouge and Rose Newman and husband Ken of Baton Rouge.
She was an independent insurance agency owner in Crowley and later in Baton Rouge.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, her children and their spouses, as well as eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and three brothers, Allan Edwards of Arkansas, Edwin Edwards of Baton Rouge and Marion Edwards of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Wallace Edwards and Agnes Brouillette Edwards and her youngest brother, Nolan Edwards.
Pallbearers will be Byrne Edwards, David Edwards, Richard Jones, Baraq Isbell, Laurence Langlois and Brian Eastep.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Rabenhorst Funeral Home in Baton Rouge.

CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 1 at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Estherwood for Don Louis "Cop Cop" Myers, 73, who died June 29, 2005 at the Crowley American Legion Hospital.
Msgr. Russell Harrington will be officiating for the services. A rosary was recited by the St. Margaret’s Alter Society at 4 p.m. Thursday and at 7 p.m. by the Knights of Columbus Fr. Fontaine Council #4791.
Interment will be in Estherwood Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Myers was a retired bus driver from the Acadia Parish School Board. He was an active member of the 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus Fr. Fontaine Council #4791, and an usher at St. Margaret Catholic Church.
He is survived by one son, Don L. "Donnie" Myers II and his wife Susan of Estherwood; one grandson, Mitchell Myers and his wife Megan of Estherwood; one granddaughter Lauren Beth Myers of Estherwood and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Sellers Myers; his parents, Polite and Noada Menard Myers and one brother, Lawrence Paul Myers.
Visitation will be observed Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
The pallbearers will be Greg Broussard, Stephen Broussard, Paul Broussard, Scott Broussard, Gary David and Howard Nugent, Jr.

CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 2 at 11 a.m. at Agappe’ Pentecostal Church for Nicole Brown Augustus, 29, who passed away Monday, June 27, 2005 in Crowley. Rev. Joseph Damon will officiate the services. Interment will be in South Crowley Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Dexter Augustus of Rayne; mother, Charlene Bates Brown of Crowley; one daughter, Cartaya Bias of Carencro; one brother, Shawn M. Brown of Crowley; two sisters, Cissley Bates of Crowley and Joanna Lynne Perkins of Houston; a special family, the Senegal family of Rayne; maternal grandmother, Lillian Bates of Crowley; godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Neal Francis of Crowley; special childhood friend, Jamel Pitre of Crowley and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Joseph Louis Brown Sr.; one brother, Joseph Louis Brown Jr.; one sister, Monica Louise Brown; maternal grandfather, Murphy Bates Sr.; paternal grandparents, Dominick and Joanne Brown; and special father figure friend, Frank Senegal.
Visitation will be observed Saturday at Agappe’ Pentecostal Church, 813 W. 10th Street, Crowley from 7 a.m. until time of services.
